Delete your data
What we keep
CrimeGhost has no sign-up. When you play, the game creates an anonymous account (a random ID, no name, email or phone number) and keeps one cloud copy of your game: your progress in each case, your answers, hints used, stars, settings, and the detective name you typed in Profile, if you chose one. Nothing else is collected. There are no ads. If “Share anonymous usage data” is on, anonymous game events are also kept under the same random ID.
Delete it from the game
- Open CrimeGhost.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
This deletes your saved game data from our servers immediately and signs the phone out of that anonymous account. The game then starts fresh as a new anonymous player. The old random ID can remain in our sign-in system with no data attached to it; to have it removed too, send the email below. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on the phone.
Delete it by email
If you no longer have the app, email yohanes@adulislabs.com with the subject “CrimeGhost data deletion” and the detective number shown on your Profile card (for example DET. #5312), if you know it. We delete the matching account and its game data within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted, and what is kept
Deleted: all saved progress, answers, hints, stars, settings and the detective name (in the app, immediately), and the anonymous ID itself together with its usage events in our analytics (by email, within 30 days).
Kept: no game data. We keep no backups of individual players’ game data after deletion.
